I have no idea on what kind of colour pallet to use in my magazine as of yet, but my target audience is young adults, aged (16-24) so it has to be appealing to both sexes and still look good. The colours that i personally like at the minute are Red, White and Navy, Nautical colours, i think these can represent both male and female as they are neither more masculine nor feminine than each other, and i think if used in the right way can look presentable and professional and still manage to appeal to the target audience. If i changed my magazine to be for women only, i think i would consider using pastel colours, or quite vibrant colours such as pink, orange and green, against black and white as i think they would stand out brilliantly.
